AB Bank elects Fazlur Rahman as chairman

AB Bank PLC has elected Md. Fazlur Rahman, FCA, as the Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective from June 18, 2026.

Before assuming this role, Rahman served as the Vice Chairman of the Bank, according to a press release.

He joined AB Bank as a Vice President in 1997 and later served as its President and Managing Director from 2012 to 2014.

During this period, the Bank achieved several notable financial milestones under his leadership.
Rahman is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in banking, financial management, and strategic planning.
