State-owned industries vital for economic growth: MP Lobby

Mohammad Ali Asghar Lobby, Member of Parliament for the Khulna-5 constituency, emphasised the vital role of state-owned industrial enterprises in the country’s industrialisation and economic development.

He encouraged the officers and employees to continue working with dedication, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.

He made these remarks during a visit to Bangladesh Cable Shilpa Limited in Khulna on Saturday and expressed satisfaction with the company’s overall operations and production activities.

During the visit, the MP inspected various sections of the factory and reviewed its production processes, management practices, and working environment.

He later held a meeting with the company’s officials and leaders of the Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA).

During the discussion, he provided guidance on enhancing productivity, maintaining workplace discipline, improving the working environment, and strengthening cooperation among employees to support the organization’s continued growth.

The officials and CBA leaders also briefed the MP on the company’s activities, prospects, and several operational issues.

He assured them that the matters raised would receive due consideration and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the institution’s future development.
