Ship carrying 26,000 tonnes of octane arrives
A ship carrying about 26,000 tonnes of refined octane from Malaysia has arrived at Chattogram port under the supervision of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
The ship named ‘MT Central Star’, flying the flag of Marshall Islands, arrived at the outer anchorage of Chattogram port on Wednesday. BPC official confirmed the matter.
He said that Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) is maintaining the import and supply system of fuel oil normal despite the ongoing war situation in the Middle East.
As part of this, 26,000 tonnes of octane and 25,000 tonnes of furnace oil have been brought.
