Khairul Basar, Safa Kabir’s drama ‘Motshokonna’ released

The Eid special drama titled ‘Motshokonna’, based on the story of Md Jamal Hossain and written and directed by Serniabat Shawon, was released on Rangon Entertainment on March 30.

Produced by Jamal Hossain, the drama stars the title role of this generation’s popular actress Safa Kabir.

Her character’s name in the drama is Ira. Popular TV drama actor of this generation, Khairul Basar plays the role of Rafi opposite Safa in the drama.

Regarding talking about acting in the drama, Khairul Basar told this correspondent, “My experience working with Safa has been very good. She is a very dedicated actress.

She works hard to make sure that whatever role she plays is perfect. Personally, Safa is a very cheerful and cool person.

Our friendship and communication are also quite good. All things considered, working with Safa is easy and enjoyable for me.”

In this regard, Safa Kabir shared her feelings by this way, “Since childhood, Ariel the Mermaid has been my favourite. I had a lot of Ariel the Mermaid in my collection.

When I was a kid, I used to wonder if mermaids really existed.

Even as an adult, I still wonder if mermaids or ‘Motshokonna’ really exist.

When the director brought the story of this drama to me, I really liked it because I have previously acted in some dramas under Shawon Bhai’s direction.

That’s why I have confidence in his work. That’s why I also agreed as soon as he said it.

The story was originally written by Jamal Bhai and adapted by Shawon Bhai.

Khairul Basar is one of my favourite co-artistes. Basar is so calm that I feel very comfortable working with him.

I feel like I have a lot in common with Basar, especially since I am quiet, easygoing, and dedicated to work, Basar is just like that.

After the drama was released on YouTube, it has been receiving a good response little by little.”
