Rain, thunderstorms likely
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain and thunderstorms over 15 districts in the country in the next 24 hours.
On Friday, BMD said Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Pabna, Bogra, Dhaka, Tangail, Mymensingh, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, and Sylhet regions might experience rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds.
It also asked the river ports in the country to host warning signal number 1.
The temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius in the morning, which may decrease in the night, the bulletin added.
