Dhaka and surrounding areas may experience temporarily partly cloudy skies on Sunday. However, no significant change in daytime temperatures is likely.
This information was issued from the Storm Warning Centre of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department in the weather forecast for the next 6 hours starting from 7am on Sunday.
It states that the sky may remain temporarily partly cloudy and the weather may stay dry. During this time, winds from the west or south-west may blow at 6 to 12 kilometres per hour. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
According to the forecast data, at 6am on Sunday in Dhaka, the temperature was 20.5°C with humidity at 86 percent. Maximum temperature in Dhaka was 32.4°C on Saturday.
Minimum temperature recorded was 20.4°C on Sunday.
Additionally, sunset today will be at 6:01pm, and tomorrow’s sunrise at 6:20am. No rainfall was recorded in Dhaka in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, yesterday’s forecast from the Met Office stated that the seasonal normal low pressure is centred over the south Bay of Bengal, with its extended part reaching up to the northeast Bay of Bengal.
In such a situation, weather across the country may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Along with that, nighttime and daytime temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
