Nusraat Faria beaten up for Kona 13 years ago

Popular film actress Nusraat Faria was beaten up while protesting for the bride of musician Dilshad Nahar Kona.

Faria was the victim of this unfortunate incident while performing at a show in Nepal about 13 years ago.

Faria recently recalled this explosive memory from the beginning of her career as
a guest on a podcast.

The incident happened in 2013. Faria went to a big concert in Nepal as a presenter. The main attraction of that event was the singers Kona and James.

In this regard, Nusraat Faria said, “I was beaten up for Kona Apu. In 2013,
I went to Nepal to do a show.

I was the presenter of the show. Kona Apu and James Bhai were among the artistes. It was a big show in Nepal.”

Describing the incident, Faria said, “For some reasons, the organiser’s wife misbehaved with Kona Apu. At that moment, I protested about the matter. I said, ‘You must apologise to Kona Apu for this incident.’

Then they detained me. At that time,
I was younger, my blood was hot, and my head was hot too.”

Additionally, Faria opened up about her experience of arrest and imprisonment in the podcast.

She said that the dramatic arrest at the airport and the subsequent two days in prison made her reacquaint herself with many familiar people in her life.

The path from presenter to actress was not easy for Nusraat Faria.

In this career spanning more than a decade, she has received both applause and criticism.

However, she has overcome all the ups and downs to become one of the most talked about names in showbiz today.
