Nawba Tahiya bids farewell to acting

Promising actress Nawba Tahiya has bid farewell to showbiz. She announced her retirement from acting through a post on social media on Wednesday night.

Tahiya said that she has taken this decision mainly to focus on her religious life and studies.

In that post, Nawba wrote, “After a wonderful four-year journey in media, I have decided to stop. It has been an incredible journey, for which I am forever grateful.

I have now found peace between my religion, education and personal growth. This chapter of my life feels right to me now.”

She further clarified that she will not be seen in any dramas, commercials (TVCs) or OTT platform work in the future. However, some works may be released as it has already been completed, with which she is no longer associated.

This current actress gained wide recognition after acting in Chorki’s web film ‘Punormilon’.

Apart from this, her presence in several talked-about dramas like ‘Chupi Chupi’, ‘Prothom Preme Banan Bhul’, ‘Mayapuran’ and ‘Shudhu Tumi’ has caught the attention of the audience.

She also acted in the drama ‘Control Plus Z’ of the popular series ‘Close up Kachhe Ashar Golpo’.

Although she had previously taken a break for a few months due to her studies, Nawba has now announced her permanent exit from showbiz. Thanking her fans and viewers for their love, Nawba now wants to focus fully on her personal and educational life.
