Al-Arafah Islami Bank’s distributes blankets among helpless people

Bandarban Branch of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has distributed blankets to more than 300 underprivileged people amid the cold weather, according to a press release. The blanket distribution program was organised on Tuesday at the Bandarban branch office by Muhammad Ali, the bank’s Bandarban District Representative, according to a press release.

The event was presided over by Branch Manager Md Moinuddin and Branch Manager (Operations) Syed Mia Hasan. Several prominent guests attended, including local businessmen and social leaders such as Md Islam, Abdul Mabud, Md Abdul Aziz, Md Abu Saleh Chowdhury, and Md Solaiman.

Speakers highlighted that Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC actively contributes to the country’s economic and social development through Shariah-compliant banking services, SME and retail investments, foreign remittance services, and CSR initiatives.

Branch Manager Md Moinuddin said, “As part of our humanitarian responsibility, we always aim to support the underprivileged. Public welfare activities like this will continue in the future.”
The bank expressed gratitude to all attendees and well-wishers for their participation.
