KMP Commissioner meets journos

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Md Sazzadur Rahman on Monday held a meeting with journalists in Khulna to discuss the city’s law and order situation, drug and crime control, traffic management and security measures for the upcoming Durga Puja.

The meeting was held at the Khulna Press Club on Monday.
Issues including the use of technology in crime prevention, expansion of the CCTV network, traffic congestion, strengthening cyber capabilities, combating drugs and terrorism, and ensuring security during the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja were discussed at the meeting.

The police commissioner stressed the need for greater cooperation between police and journalists and stronger public engagement in maintaining law and order.

He also emphasised expanding the use of technology in crime prevention, taking effective measures against drugs and ensuring the safety and security of city residents through coordinated efforts.

Senior KMP officials and journalists representing print, electronic and online media outlets based in Khulna attended the meeting.
