CPA celebrates Victory Day-2025

The day began on 16 December 2025 at 12:01 PM by blowing whistles for 1 minute in a row by all ships and vessels located in the port’s waters.

At 6:30 AM, with sunrise, the national flag was hoisted in all important offices, residential buildings, vessels located in the channel, educational institutions, and clubs/parliaments of the Chattagram Port Authorit (CPA).

At 8:30 AM, the Chairman, Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman, OSP, NDC, NCC, PSC, hoisted the national flag at the memorial monument at the CPA Republic Club and received the salute and laid a wreath.

At this time, all members of CPA, all department heads, leaders of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Bandar Thana Command, officers/ employees of all levels of Bandar and heads and students of various educational institutions, including their respective institutions/ organizations, placed wreaths on behalf of them.

On the occasion of the day, special prayers and supplications were organized in all mosques, worship places, temples and Buddhist monasteries under CPA and high-quality food was served to internal patients in Bandar Hospital.

In addition, on the occasion of the great Victory Day, the Bandar building and adjacent areas were decorated with lights and banners.
