Bombay Experience stages concert, Masterclass in Dhaka

Alliance Française de Dhaka organiased a special jazz concert featuring renowned artistes from several countries.

The concert titled “Alexandre Herre’s Bombay Experience” was held on December 3 at the Liberation War Museum auditorium in the capital’s Agargaon area.

Apart from this, a masterclass has been organised with three artistes of Bombay Experience at Dhanmondi office of Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) on December 4, said a press release.

Alexandre Herrere’s Bombay Experience is a music collaboration project that seeks to bridge the gap between Carnatic rhythms, Indian hip-hop, and
contemporary jazz music.

The project features French pianist Alexandre Herrere, drummer Pierre Monjard, and bass player Gael Petrina, along with Indian mridangamist B C Manjunath and rapper Manmeet Kaur.
