Music: Novel ‘Mayar Singhasan’ about Runa Laila to be published on artiste’s b’day

Acclaimed fiction writer Abdullah Al Muktadir has written a novel about this renowned singer.
The subject of the novel ‘Mayar Singhasan’ is the emergence, struggle and evolution of Runa Laila in the popular culture of Bangladesh.
The novel will be published on Runa Laila’s birthday on November 17. It is being published by Chandrabindu Prokashoni. The cover of the book was designed by Rajib Datta.
