Unveiling of memorial ‘Kamal’ in memory of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman in Chattogram

The unveiling of the souvenir ‘Kamal’, published by the Chattogram WASA Jatiyatabadi Sramik Karmachar Dal (Reg: 2307) in memory of the Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the proclaimer of Bangladesh’s independence, and all the heroes martyred in the Liberation War, has been unveiled.
The event was organized at the residence of BNP leader Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury in Mehedibagh on Sunday (May 11). BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was present as the chief guest at the event. Mayor of Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) and BNP leader Dr. Shahadat Hossain spoke as the main speaker at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Chattogram WASA Jatiyatabadi Sramik Karmachar Dal President Mamunur Rashid.
The special guests were former general secretary of Chattagram Metropolitan BNP Abul Hashem Bakkar, former convener of South District BNP Abu Sufian, member of the BNP Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Committee Israfil Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, member secretary of Chattogram Press Club journalist Zahidul Karim Kochi, Chattogram Divisional President of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal AM Nazim Uddin, General Secretary Sheikh Nurullah Bahar, and former councilor Niaz Mohammad Khan were present.
