‘Canal excavation is one of the pillars of BNP politics’

The canal excavation program is one of the pillars of BNP politics, said BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
He said, canal excavation is one of the pillars of BNP politics. Canal excavation does not mean just water drainage, it must ensure the flow of water in a city.
A different economy can be developed around the canal. A place of entertainment can be made for the local people, a walkway can be made for them to walk.
On Friday (May 2), the chief guest said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the excavation and cleaning work funded by the North Kattoli Ward BNP on the left side of the city’s Kattoli Kornelhat Bazar, next to the railway line adjacent to the ward office, Nazir Canal and Kalir Chha Canal on the basis of voluntary work.
The cleaning program was inaugurated by Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain.
The special guest speakers were Alhaj Ershad Ullah, convener of Chattagram Metropolitan BNP, and former general secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar.
