Sudipa Chatterjee in trouble in West Bengal after coming to Bangladesh for cooking beef
Entertainment Report :
Sudipa Chatterjee is a well-known name in the entertainment world of the West Bengal. She got fame by hosting the popular cooking programme of Indian TV channel, ‘Zee Bangla Rannaghor’. But not only in West Bengal, Sudipa is also popular in Bangladesh. So, recently she came to Bangladesh with a cooking related TV programme.
Sudipa was present as a guest in a cooking related programme on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In that programme, she accepted extreme sarcasm in West Bengal for cooking beef.
Sudipa Chatterjee was seen with the Bangladeshi actress Tareen Jahan in a show titled ‘Radhuni Epar-Oparer Ranna’. There Tarin cooked beef kofta.
And in this, Sudipa has fallen under the wrath of the netizens of West Bengal.
Being a Hindu, Sudipa has to face constant threats by airing a show in which she was cooking beef.
She was even threatened to kidnap her five-year-old son Adedev Chatterjee.
However, in this context, Sudipa said in the Indian mass media, “I am being targeted again and again. I’m sure most of the people trolling about it haven’t seen the video. I stayed away from beef, never cooked it, never even touched it. Secondly, Tareen Jahan has done the cooking herself. The videos are still unedited. Anyone can take a look. Can’t see anywhere that I’ve even touched the beef.”
However, the programme ‘Radhuni Epar-Oparer Ranna’ has the entire episode on the YouTube channel.
There, Sudipa made her own Kolkata style ‘Gondhoraj Shami Kebabs’. There she used mutton. In the entire episode, Sudipa was not seen eating beef kofta anywhere.
Meanwhile, Sudipa took a break from the small screen a month ago.
After a long hiatus after the end of her popular cooking show, she started own cooking show on YouTube channel. There she highlighted the taste and cooking methods of the Bengal food. And on that basis, she came to Bangladesh before Eid-ul-Azha. And then she was seen in this Eid special cooking event.
