Baraigram fire-affected families get tin, warm clothes

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abu Rasel distributed tin and winter clothes to two fire-affected families in Baraigram of Natore under the initiative of Upazila Administration and Haji Kalyan Organization.
Two bundles of tin and winter clothes were given on Sunday at the upazila model mosque square. President of Upazila Haji Kalyan organization Alhaj Md Saifur Rahman presided over and General Secretary Md. Moslem Uddin conducted the meeting. The chief guest was Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abu Russell and special guests were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Borhan Uddin Ullah Mithu, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Abdur Razzaq. Besides, Alhaji Solai man Khan, Niyamat Ali of Haji Kalyan Organization spoke there. On last 20 December, on Wednesday night, the fire broke out in Manikpur village of the upazila. Hazrat Ali and Masum Hussain’s bedroom and household goods were burnt to ashes. One cow and seven goats of Hazrat Ali and four goats of Masum Hussain were burnt to death. Besides, a buffalo and a cow of Masum were burnt and injured.
