On the way to the end of movie ‘Aguner Pakhi’

The work of the movie ‘Aguner Pakhi’ directed by the talented director Awal Chowdhury is
nearing completion.
Director Awal Chowdhury said in his story, dialogues, screenplay and cinematography by Shovon Biswas, Ahmed Rubel, Shatabdi Wadud, Jyotika Jyoti, Ramiz Raju, Meghla Mukta, Imtiaz Barshan and many others acted in various roles in the movie.
The music of the movie is directed by Zahid Nirob, choreography by Imdadul Haque Khokon and make-up by Manik. After two days of shooting, the camera will be closed in Fulbaria of Mymensingh for the movie ‘Aguner Pakhi’.
While talking in this regard, director Awal Chowdhury told this correspondent, “Aguner Pakhi’ is basically a women’s awakening movie. Women’s inner self-power, it is a movie of awakening self-esteem. Everyone who has acted in it has acted wonderfully in their roles. Shovon is doing the cinematography which is simply awesome. Everyone knows about Manik’s make-up. She also received the National Film Award. And Zahid Nirob is a talented director of this generation. All in all I feel that ‘Aguner Pakhi’ is going to be a complete movie in my mind which will entertain the audience. ‘Aguner Pakhi’ is going to be a movie to inspire women especially. I believe the audience will like the movie very much.”
Actress Meghla Mukta is acting in role of Shabnam Hasan in the movie. She told this correspondent, “After many years, Awal Bhai is making a movie again. He is trying his best to make the movie with care. I, we were impressed with his guidance of the entire unit. The work of the movie officially finished yesterday. Today and tomorrow Barshan and I will work on a song. Our work would have been finished before. But due to the previous low rain, our work stopped. I am very optimistic about the movie ‘Aguner Pakhi’.”
Director Awal Chowdhury informed that the film will be submitted for the censor after finishing other work after quick editing back to Dhaka.
The director wants to release the movie this year. Be it the last week of December.
It is noted that Awal Chowdhury has produced many dramas before. His first movie was ‘Jonom Jonom’. In 2019, he made ‘Ja Chhilo Ondhokare’ and was awarded the National Film Award as the Best Docudrama Director.
