Farzana Chobi’s performance in the movie was praised.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Farzana Chobi told this correspondent, “Since the release of the movie, I have received an unprecedented response from many people for playing the role of Bangabandhu’s mother.
As an artiste, I am always very inspired. Working in a historical role is very challenging; again playing the role of Bangabandhu’s mother.
I got to know the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in detail while playing his role; I also got to know about his mother.
I deeply realised that she was no ordinary mother, because she was Bangabandhu’s mother.
Bangabandhu’s mother was also a woman of good conscience.
Begum Fazilatunnessa was an orphan.
She tried to make Fazilatunnessa and Bangabandhu like human beings with equal affection, love and compassion.
So, I was able to witness history by playing the role of Bangabandhu’s mother, this is a matter of my great pride and absolute love.
I just tried my best to bring the character alive on screen.
The rest can actually tell the audience that well.
I have many thanks to director Goutam Koiri.”
