Tk109.13cr annual budget of Raozan Pourasava announced

Budget session of Raozan Pourasava for the financial year 2023-24 was held in
the conference hall of the pourasava
yesterday. Raozan Mayor Zamiruddin Parvez chaired the budget session.
Member of the Parliament and Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury inaugurated the session and was the chief guest who joined the budget session digitally. Mayor Zamiruddin Parvez announced the annual budget of Tk109.13cr and read out the written statement over the activities of the last year of theorganisation. Out of the total budget, total revenue income and capital investment income shown Tk13 crores and the project expenditures of Tk96.15 crores.
On the other hand, revenue and capital expenditures estimated at Tk9.43 crores. The proposed project expenditures with govt and non-govt funding of Tk91.06 crores. The surplus budget is of Tk4.80 crores. Meanwhile, Netherlands govt has assured for project loan of Tk96 crores for city’s infrastructure development. Recently Mayor Zamiruddin visited Netherlands on four days visit to sign the Delta Plan MOU following the allocation of World Bank. LGRD Minister of the GOB was also present during the signing ceremony in Netherlands. Panel Mayor Bashiruddin Khan delivered address of welcome on the occasion. President of Raozan Upazila AL Kazi Abdul Wahab was the special guest in it. Upazila AL vice President Kamrul Islam Bahadur, Panel Mayor-2 Adv Samir Kanti Das, Panel Mayor Councilor Nasima Akhter spoke on the occasion.
