2 RU students arrested over cheating, 1-day remand granted

A Court granted 1-day remand of the two Rajshahi University students, who were arrested on the charge of financial fraud through hacking of IMO app, said an announcement from the official Facebook page of Cybercrime Investigation Division CTTC on Tuesday morning (November 15).
Earlier, the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Monday morning picked them up from a mess outside of the university campus under the Chandrima police station area of Rajshahi city.
The two students are Shakib Khan and Rezwan Ahmed, students of the 2018-19 academic year of the Painting, Oriental Art and Printmaking department of the Fine Arts faculty of Rajshahi University.
