BGB launches mobile servicing training

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has launched a month-long technical training programme for youths in the border areas of Sapahar upazila in Naogaon.
The “Border Technical Training Centre” was inaugurated at the Aihai Union Parishad hall in Sapahar on Sunday under the management of BGB-16.
Lieutenant Colonel Ariful Islam Masum, PSC, commander of BGB-16, inaugurated the centre by cutting a ribbon and attended the programme as the chief guest.
Thirty young people from different villages near the border have been selected for the first batch of the training.
The participants will receive practical training in mobile phone servicing, mobile device operation and digital technology. They will also be provided with basic business knowledge and guidance to help them become self-employed entrepreneurs.
