Husband hacked to death in front of his wife in Narsingdi

A man named Anil Pal (45) was hacked to death by miscreants in Palash upazila of Narsingdi in front of wife Geeta Pal who was also injured in the incident.
The incident took place at Parulia village of the upazila just before dawn at 3 am onTuesday. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Palash Police Station Mohammad Elias confirmed the matter to the media.
Local UP member Kiran Prabhan said that some miscreants entered Anil Pal’s house around 3 am last night, and hacked Anil Pal to death with native weapons. The miscreants also injured Geeta Pal as she tried to save her husband.
Hearing Geetha Pal’s screams, the people of the neighborhood gathered and informed the police. Police came and recovered the dead body and sent it to Narsingdi District Hospital.
OC Elias said that after receiving information, the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Police are visiting the scene and trying to identify the cause of the murder and those involved. Investigation is on to unearth the reasons and motive of the murder.
