The agreement was signed at PKSF Bhaban-1 in Dhaka by PKSF Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader and SANEM Chairman Dr Bazlul Haque Khondker in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
The research initiative follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two organisations on April 19, 2026, marking the formal launch of their joint research collaboration.
Under the agreement, the study will evaluate the types and quality of employment created through the implementation of PKSF’s development programmes.
The findings are expected to provide evidence-based recommendations for designing future strategies to generate productive, sustainable and decent employment in line with evolving labour market needs.
