Sports competition held at Raozan College
Lawmaker of Raozan and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury inaugurated the annual sports competitions of Raozan University College at the College ground as Chief Guest on Monday.

A colourful annual sports competition of Raozan University College was inaugurated at college ground on Monday last. Lawmaker of Raozan and Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Railway Ministry ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury formally inaugurated the sports event on Monday morning by releasing thoussandsof colourful balloons and pigeons as chief guest.
He also took salute of scouts at play ground .. He also inaugurated the opening session of football event in the evening by kicking a football . Students of the college participated the different events.
The guests on the occasion also distributed prizes among the winners and the participants of different events, sources said. Principal of the college Md. Selim Newaz Chowdhury presided over the opening session of the competitions.
Upazila Nirbahi officer Md. Shamim Hossain, Officer In-charge of Raozan thana Kefayetullah, Acting President of Upazila AL Kamaluddin Ahmed, Education officer Saiful Islam, Poura Panel Mayor Bashir uddin Khan graced the occasion as special guests.
Among others,councilor Zamiruddin Parvez, Urkirchar UP Chairman Abdul Jabbar Sohel, Juboleague leader Nazrul Islam Chowdhury,Shamal Palit, AbdulLatif, former councilor Samiul Islam Samu,Alhaj Ahsan Habib Chowdhury , Sumon Dey, Abu Salek, Diplu dey, Anup Chakraborty, were present on the occasion.
