Price fall in large-cap drives stocks down

Stocks on Sunday continued its losing streak for a third consecutive session as investors remained cautious, awaiting greater clarity on potential changes to margin rules and assessing their possible impact on market liquidity and trading activity.

The DSEX, the broad index of the DSE, fell 23.9 points to settle at 5,860 points, compared with 5,884 points in the previous trading session.

The market remained under sustained selling pressure throughout the session.
