Dakkhin Banga Ainjibi Parishad formed

Focusing on the development and welfare of Dakkin Banga’s (South Bangal), Lawyers of the region at a meeting formed an organisation titled “Dakkhin Banga Ainjibi Parisad” at a city hotel on Monday.
Chaired by Senior Lawyer and former Member of Parliament ABM Nurul Islam the meeting formed a six-member advisory council.
They are: Senior Lawyer ABM Nurul Islam, Barrister M Amir-ul Islam, Khandakar Mahbub Hossain, Barrister Mainul Hosein, Yousuf Hossain Humayun and Lutfe Alam. .
Shah Md. Khasruzzaman and Nazibur Rahman were selected as president and general secretary of the council respectively.
Other office bearers are: Sheikh Atiar Rahman, SM Munir and SM Rezaul Karim — vice-presidents, Md. Abul Bashar, Shah Md. Munir Sharif and Khalilur Rahman — joint-secretaries, Md. Nuruzzaman Hiru — treasurer and Mizanur Rahman Khan — organizing secretary.
The meeting also announced a 101-member executive committee.
