Tanjin Tisha’s film debut in limbo
Tanjin Tisha has long won over television audiences with her acting and modeling, earning further acclaim for her work in web films and series.
A big-screen debut remains the one milestone on her list, but she has been waiting for the right story and a memorable character to make her mark in cinema.
That opportunity seemed to have arrived last year with Soldier, in which she stars opposite megastar Shakib Khan. However, production was unexpectedly delayed.
As a result, two other Shakib Khan films, Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka and Rockstar, which went into production after Soldier, are now expected to hit theaters first.
Recent reports suggest that scheduling conflicts have complicated plans to complete the film, which requires another nine to 10 days of shooting.
Shakib Khan is also set to begin work on two new films, Nissho and Mohabbat, soon.
Whether he can fit in the remaining shoots for Soldier amid his other commitments remains unclear.
With no confirmed timeline for completion, the release date of Tisha’s big-screen debut is also uncertain.
