Army, Ansar joint champs of Women’s Division

Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Ansar & VDP emerged as the joint champions of the Women’s Division while Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) became champions of the Men’s Division of the Marcel Independence Day Wrestling Competition at the Kabaddi Stadium on Thursday.
Bangladesh Police finished runners-up of the Women’s Division while Bangladesh Ansar & VDP became runners-up of the Men’s Division.
Abdur Rashid of BGB was adjudged the best male wrestler of the competition while Farzana of Bangladesh Army was adjudged the best female wrestler of the meet.
After the competitions, Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Additional Director of Marcel Mosharrof Hossain Rajib was with him as the special guest.
