National Women's Football: BJMC become Group A champions

BJMC became Group A champions of the KFC National Women’s Football Championship beating Mymensingh District team by 2-1 goals in the day’s second match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Sunday.
BJMC emerged as the Group A champions securing nine points from three matches while Mymensingh District team became the Group A runners-up collecting six points from as many matches.
Both teams qualified for the semi-finals.
Lipi and Sabina Khatun of BJMC scored one goal each while Sheuli of Mymensingh District team netted one goal.
In the day’s other match, Rangpur District team defeated Rajbari District team by 9-3 goals at the same venue.
Lanoni of Rangpur District team scored four goals with a hat-trick and her teammate Akhi netted two goals and their teammates Sultana, Asha, Khadiza scored one goal each.
On the other hand, Soheli of Rajbari District team hit a hat-trick.
