Cable service worker shot at in city

A worker of a cable service worker sustained bullet injuries after miscreants shot at him in the city’s Pirerbagh area on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Nur M Bijoy, 22, son of late Mojibur Miah, an inhabitant of Bancharampur upazila in Brahmanbaria district. Bijoy has been living at a
rented house in Pirerbagh, Mirpur of the capital.
Witnesses said that Bijoy was working at Bombay Goli of Pirerbagh. Some miscreants suddenly appeared there and opened fire at him around 10:30pm, leaving him injured.
Injured Bijoy was admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at night, said Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp.
