Citizens Bank opens Ichapura sub-branch in Munshiganj

Citizens Bank PLC has recently opened its Ichapura sub-branch at Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj, with Managing Director Alamgir Hossain inaugurating it as chief guest, a press release said on Sunday.

The MD said the bank would focus on SME development through tailored financing, working capital support, trade finance and business advisory services.

Hossain also expressed interest in cluster-based financing for local potato farmers to improve cultivation and productivity.

The bank will offer deposit products, consumer financing, remittances and digital banking to meet customers’ needs, the release said.

Deputy Managing Directors Md Mostafizur Rahman and Md Abdul Latif, other senior officials, invited dignitaries, clients and local business figures attended the inaugural programme, the press release added.
