AB Bank disburses agri loans

AB Bank PLC Additional Managing Director Z. M. Babar Khan and Deputy Managing Director Iftekhar Enam Awal hand over agricultural loan dummy cheques to marginal farmers at a loan disbursement ceremony held at the Sirajganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium recently.

AB Bank PLC. has disbursed agricultural loans to marginal farmers in SadarUpazila, Sirajganj.

The loans were disbursed among the farmers at a program held at Sirajganj UpazilaParisad Auditorium with a view to developing the agricultural sector and strengthening food security.

Iftekhar Enam Awal, Deputy Managing Director, AB Bank presided over the program while Z. M. Babar Khan, Additional Managing Director attended the program as the Chief Guest. Md. Mamun Khan, UpazilaNirbahi Officer, Sirajganj Sadar, Joynal Abedin, Additional Director, Agricultural Credit Department-2, Head Office, Bangladesh Bank, Shantanu Biswas, Joint Director, Agricultural Credit Department-1, Head Office, Bangladesh Bank and S. M. Nasim Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer were present as Special Guests.

Senior officials of the Bank and local dignitaries were also present at the event.
