BCIC Chief Babul Mia now Secretary

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman Md Babul Mia has been promoted from additional secretary to secretary.

Following the promotion, he will continue to serve as the chairman of BCIC.

Babul Mia joined the 15th Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre on 15 November 1995.

During his career, he served in various field administration roles, including assistant commissioner and magistrate, assistant commissioner (land), upazila nirbahi officer and additional deputy commissioner in different districts.

He also held important positions in the central administration at several ministries, including the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Ministry of Planning.
