Madhumita upset over rumours of quitting film

West Bengal actress Madhumita Sarcar has joined Dhaka’s film for first time with Mohammad Iqbal’s ‘Gulshaner Chameli’.

The actress was present at the film’s mahurat held in Dhaka on August 1. On that day, she expressed her excitement to be associated with the film.

However, since last Friday night, rumours have been circulating on social media that Madhumita has withdrawn from the film.

When contacted, the actress expressed her anger over such rumours. Madhumita Sarcar told media, “Such rumours are spread every day on Facebook.

I don’t want to comment on these.” The actress got angry at one point while talking about the rumours of leaving the film.

She said, “No one related to the film has made such an announcement, so why is there so much talk about it.” The actress believes that a group is spreading rumours about her withdrawal from films.
