Convener committee formed for Kulaura Press Club

A unified convener committee for the Kulaura Press Club has been formed in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, bringing together journalists from three separate press clubs.

The decision was made at a meeting held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday afternoon, presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sanjida Akter. Alhaj Shawkatul Islam Shoku, MP, attended the meeting as the chief guest and provided guidance on the process.

The meeting was attended by Upazila BNP President Joynal Abedin Bacchu; S. M. Zaman Matin, Political Secretary-1 to the MP; Badruzzaman Sajal, general secretary of the Upazila BNP; Redwan Khan, Political Secretary-2 to the MP; Shamim Ahmad Chowdhury, former general secretary of the Upazila BNP; and Abdul Muktadir Monu, the current organising secretary, among others.
