Despite huge publicity surrounding Subhasree, Dev’s film remains at No 3

Several movies have been released in West Bengal around Durga Puja. The box office battle has intensified among these movies. ‘Bohurupi: The Golden Daku’ is leading so far in terms of audience interest and earnings.

However, ‘The Aken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra’ starring Dev and Subhashree Gangopadhyay has surprisingly left behind ‘DeSu 7’ and is in second place.

According to the information of Sacknilk, which works on box office calculations, ‘Bohurupi: The Golden Daku’ has earned about 6 crore 72 lakh rupees in India till October 23.

‘The Aken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra’, which is in second place, has earned about 6 crore 62 lakh rupees. On the other hand, ‘DeSu 7’ starring Dev and Subhashree has earned about 4 crore 93 lakh rupees so far.

‘Emperor vs Sarat Chandra’ directed by Srijit Mukherjee has earned about 1 crore 28 lakh rupees.

Since Dev and Subhasree are a popular pair, there was a lot of interest in ‘DeSu 7’ from audience. However, so far, the movie is in third place at the box office.
