Palli Sanchay Bank has deposited Tk 60 crore in dividends declared in favour of the government for the period up to the 2023-24 fiscal year into the government treasury. The cheque was formally handed over to Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury at his office at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka on Sunday. AKM Jahangir, chairman of the bank’s board of directors, and Salma Banu, its managing director, handed over the cheque to the minister where Nazma Mobarek, secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, was present.
