How much do you have to do for Rs 2 : Koushani
Almost two years after Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s much-talked-about film ‘Bohurupi’, Tollywood actress Koushani Mukherjee is once again appearing in front of the audience in popular character of ‘Jhimli’.
This time she will be seen in the film ‘Bahurupi: The Golden Daku’, which is set to be released in theaters on October 15.
However, even before the film’s release, there has been a lot of curiosity and discussion on social media about a unique promotion of the film, where the actress has completely transformed herself into a Mechhuni (fishmonger).
The caption of the funny video that was published on the net was, ‘When Chhachrapur Platform No 1’s Jhimli is a fishmonger.’
In the video, it is difficult to recognise Koushani with her hair tied tightly in a bun, a simple sari on her body, dark makeup on her face and a completely de-glam look.
She is calling buyers by singing a familiar tune like a fishmonger at a fish market, holding up one big fish after another.
However, the experience of fishing for the silver screen was not very comforting for her. The actress is seen struggling to catch a big fish near the pond.
Koushani, who is extremely upset, can be heard saying in a humorous tone, “How much do you have to do for two rupees! I never thought in my life that I would have to become a fishmonger.”
