Parveen Akter new DMD of Karmasangsthan Bank

Parveen Akter has joined state-owned Karmasangsthan Bank as deputy managing director on Sunday.
The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance recently issued a notification appointing her to the position, according to a media release.

She previously served as deputy managing director at Palli Sanchay Bank, Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank, Bangladesh Development Bank PLC and Agrani Bank PLC.

Before that, she served as general manager at Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC).

Parveen began her career in 1996 as a senior officer at BHBFC. She has worked in various key departments and participated in training programmes, workshops and seminars at home and abroad.

She obtained her bachelor’s (honours) degree in 1988 and master’s degree in 1990 from the Department of Economics at the University of Dhaka.
