Sunerah going to Venice, along with Bangladeshi film

Dhallywood actress Sunerah Binte Kamal, who came to the limelight after winning the National Film Award in her first film, is now set to step onto a bigger international stage in her career.

Her film ‘The Difficult Bride’ has been selected for the competition section of the world’s most prestigious Venice International Film Festival.

Directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, the film marks the first time a Bangladeshi film has made it to the competition section of the Venice Film Festival.

Naturally, Sunerah is excited about the matter. She is also going to Venice to participate in the festival with the film’s team.

The actress said about her achievement, “This is actually very happy news. Very happy news.

It is a matter of joy for everyone in this film. For the country’s cinema as well. I am also going to the Venice Film Festival.”
