DMP reshuffles responsibilities of 3 DCs, 5 ADCs

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has reshuffled the responsibilities of three deputy commissioners (DCs) and five additional deputy commissioners (ADCs), affecting several key divisions of the metropolitan police.

DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed approved the changes through two separate office orders issued on August 30.

Under one of the orders, DMP Deputy Commissioner Md Sharfuddin has been assigned to the Procurement and Workshop Division.

Traffic-Wari Division DC Md Azad Rahman has been transferred to the Diplomatic Security Division, while City-Research and Development Division DC Mohammad Nur-e-Alam has been appointed DC of the Traffic-Wari Division.

The reshuffle also includes five ADC-level officials serving in detective, welfare and zonal assignments.

DB-Mirpur Division ADC Md Sonahar Ali has been transferred to the Detective-Gulshan Division.

Welfare and Force Division ADC Md Sazzad Hossain has been transferred to the Cantonment Zone of the Gulshan Division. Cantonment Zone ADC Mohammad Abir Hasan has been appointed staff officer to the DMP commissioner.

DB-Ramna Division ADC Md Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury has been transferred to the POM-East Division. POM-East Division ADC Md Nazrul Islam has been transferred to the Ramna Zonal Team of the DB-Ramna Division.

The transfers and new assignments came into effect through the two office orders signed by Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed on August 30.
