Phoenix Finance holds 31st AGM

Phoenix Finance and Investments Limited has held its 31st annual general meeting, where shareholders unanimously approved all agenda items.

The hybrid meeting was held at on Thursday, allowing shareholders to participate in person and online, according to a press release.

The in-person session took place at Muktijuddho Smrity Milonayaton of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh, Kakrail, in the city.

Phoenix Finance Chairman Mohammed Mohsin presided over the meeting, attended by shareholders at the venue and through a digital platform.

Independent Directors retired Brigadier General Mahbub Ahmed Zakaria and Shafi Uddin Ahmed, FCA, and Nominee Director F Hayder Ali attended the AGM.

Managing Director Md Mamunur Rashid Molla, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Sayduzzaman, FCA, FCS, and Company Secretary Sabbirul Haque Chowdhury, ACS, were also present alongside other company executives.

Shareholders expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance.
