Rasel Bhuiyan’s 26th death anniversary today
The 26th death anniversary of renowned industrialist and social worker Rasel Bhuiyan of Rupganj, Narayanganj, is being observed today with his family seeking prayers for the salvation of his departed soul.
Rasel Bhuiyan was known for his involvement in social work and community activities in Rupganj. He was also a nature lover and the founder of Rasel Park.
He served as a member of the governing bodies of Murapara Degree College, Murapara Pilot High School and Sahitunnesa Pilot Girls High School.
Bhuiyan was also a lifetime member of the Rupganj Reporter’s Club and Rupganj Press Club, aims to carry out through coordinated efforts, mutual respect and unity.
He was described as a philomath, a protester of injustice and a social worker of Lions.
His contributions to social activities and community institutions made him a recognised figure in Rupganj.
On the occasion of his 26th death anniversary, family members of late Rasel Bhuiyan have urged his friends, relatives and well-wishers to pray to Almighty Allah for the salvation of his departed soul.
