Bangladesh-Japan boost manpower cooperation
Heartful Limited organised a seminar titled “Today’s Training, Tomorrow’s Journey to Japan” and certificate awarding ceremony at the Bangladesh Coast Guard Technical Training Institute (BCGTTI) on Tuesday.
The programme focused on the importance of professional skills, Japanese-language proficiency, discipline and workplace culture in preparing Bangladeshi youth for employment in Japan and other international labour markets.
The event was attended by Captain Mohammad Habibullah (S), psc, PCGMS, NDC, Director (Logistics), Bangladesh Coast Guard as the chief guest, while distinguished guests from Japan also participated and shared their experiences and perspectives on Japan’s employment environment, skilled workforce requirements and workplace culture.
Speaking on behalf of Heartful Limited, Murad Hassan Zenith, Managing Director of Heartful Limited, highlighted the company’s commitment to developing skilled and responsible human resources and creating meaningful international employment opportunities for Bangladeshi youth.
He said that training should not end with the acquisition of a certificate; rather, it should serve as the foundation for a successful professional career.
“Our objective is not simply to provide training. We want to prepare our trainees with the skills, language ability, discipline and professional mindset necessary to compete successfully in an international workplace, particularly in Japan,” he said.
The seminar was designed to provide trainees with a practical understanding of Japan’s labour market, Japanese workplace culture, professional discipline, communication skills and the preparations required for a successful career overseas.
Chairman Yoshida Tomohiro: Skills Development as a Bridge Between Bangladesh and Japan
Yoshida Tomohiro, Chairman of Heartful Limited, also addressed the gathering and shared his vision regarding the future development of Bangladeshi youth, international employment and stronger human-resource cooperation between Bangladesh and Japan.
His message emphasised that acquiring skills is not merely the completion of a training programme but the beginning of a longer journey toward professional development and economic opportunity.
One of the major highlights of the programme was the certificate distribution ceremony, where successful trainees from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd batches received certificates in recognition to their training, hard work, discipline and achievement.
