Daudkandi OC named among Cumilla’s best

Daudkandi Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Sajedul Islam Palash was named one of the best OCs in Cumilla district for his outstanding performance in July, just a month after taking charge.

He was selected as Best OC (3) and received 12 cash awards in different categories in recognition of his success in anti-drug and anti-arms operations.

Palash received the crest and cash awards from Chattogram Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abdul Quddus Chowdhury, PPM, at a special welfare meeting of Cumilla District Police at the Police Lines on Tuesday.

Cumilla Police Superintendent Md Anisuzzaman, PPM, and senior police officials were present.
Palash took charge of Daudkandi Model Police Station on July 5. During July, police recovered more than 100,000 yaba tablets, nearly 300 kg of cannabis, and a foreign-made pistol with ammunition in a series of operations.

Speaking about the recognition, Palash said, “It is not my individual achievement but the result of the collective efforts of all officers and members of Daudkandi Model Police Station. I am grateful to everyone whose hard work made this recognition possible.”
