Totini eyes artistic films

Tanjim Saiara Totini has become one of the most popular faces on Bangladesh’s small screen, with many of her dramas attracting millions of views on YouTube.

Her recent drama, Kajol Chokher Meye, has once again brought her into the spotlight, earning widespread praise from viewers on social media.

Asked why most of her projects become popular, Totini credited the collective effort of the production teams.

“It is the result of the entire team’s work. I always try to remain sincere and honest about my performances,” she said.

Totini said she chooses projects based on the quality of the story and the strength of the character.

“Before accepting a role, I think like a viewer and ask myself whether I would watch the project.

I have learned that audiences will watch a production when the work is good,” she added.

The actress said she considers the audience’s continued appreciation a matter of good fortune, although it also places greater responsibility on her.

“I have received many film offers since the last two Eid festivals, but I do not want to enter the film industry right now,” she said. “However, I am interested in acting in artistic films.”
