BD Women’s Football team in Group-B in Asian Games

The Bangladesh Women’s Football team are in Group-B of the Football Competition of the 20th Asian Games.

The highest sporting event in Asia will be held in Aichi-Nagoya in Japan from September 19 to October 4.

The official draw for the football event on the occasion of the Asian Games was held in Japan on Thursday.

A total of 12 teams splitting into three groups will take part in the football competition.

Japan, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam and Thailand are in Group-A, Bangladesh, North Korea, South Korea, Myanmar in Group-B, China, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, China are in Group-C.

The football event of the games will be held from September 14 to October 2.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals along with the two best third-placed teams.
