Tigers to play a Tri-Nation series After 7yrs

Bangladesh cricket team are returning to a Tri-Nation One Day International (ODI) series after a long 7 years.

In addition to the only Test against Afghanistan in October, Bangladesh will play a Tri-Nation ODI series with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. The entire series will be held in the United Arab Emirates. The full schedule of the series was released on Wednesday.

Bangladesh last played a Tri-Nation ODI series in 2019. This time they are returning to that format again with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

Members of the Bangladesh Test squad will leave for Dubai today. The team will practice there on October 2 and 3. After that, a two-day warm-up match will start from October 4.

The remaining members of the team who are in Japan for the Asian Games will join the team in Dubai on October 6. Then the entire team will practice together on October 7 and 8.

The only Test between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will start in Abu Dhabi on October 9. The match will start at 10:00am (Bangladesh Standard Time).

Then the Tri-Nation ODI series will start on October 17. Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe in the first match. Bangladesh will then meet Afghanistan in Sharjah on October 21.

Both matches will start at 3:30 pm. The final of the Tri-Nation series will be held in Sharjah on October 23.
