NHDOII distributes food items among orphans

National Human Development Organisation Impact Initiative (NHDOII) has distributed food items, hygiene packs, clothes and school shoes to 138 helpless orphans in Rangpur.

The distribution program was organised at its own office at Tajhat Ansari More in Rangpur city on Friday.

Impact Initiative’s Programme Officer Abdullah Shahin inaugurated the distribution programme. In the second phase, 138 orphans from different areas of Rangpur, Nilphamari and Kurigram districts were provided with assistance items.

Shamim Raihan, Rangpur Divisional Coordinator of the organisation, said that under Impact Initiative’s Orphan Care Program, orphans receive food items four times a year, educational materials for the entire year, tuition fees, educational tours, hygiene packs and new clothes twice.

Under this program, Impact Initiative, with the support of donor organisation Maa International, has been providing assistance to approximately 400 orphaned children across the country.
